 The area has been completely remapped as it has completely changed since the last event was run there and so most control site are new. The landscape in Moanbaun Wood is mixture of semi-open forest, rough undergrowth, and open forest with a good road network, many earth walls and some streams. ************************** COURSE INFO Long 4.3km Short 3.2km, buggy friendly There is negligible climb. START TIMES Start anytime from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. ***************** ENTRY Participants can entry online here: The online entry will close 9pm on Sunday September 4th Why not take the hassle out of registration on the day and enter online entry in advance. ************ DIRECTIONS The wood is about 3km East of Watergrasshill. If travelling from Cork city, exit the M8 Dublin motorway at Watergrasshill (at junction 17, BEFORE the toll), use the bridge to cross over the motorway, turn left, and after 500m take the right turn for Leamlara/Kartworld. Follow this road for 3.5km. From Fermoy/Mitchelstown/Cahir, exit the M8 just after the toll, go straight through the roundabout and take the left after 100m (signposted Leamlara/Kartworld).
