Many thanks to all who braved the elements today. The addition of fog added a whole new dimension to the experience.

The generosity of the Orienteering community should never be underestimated. Members of the Irish Junior Orienteering squad held a fund raiser at the event - hot beverages, mince pies, muffins, chocolate brownies and Flapjacks (the healthy option?) - Rosemarie was very busy on Saturday.
A superb total of 265euro was raised. This money will be used to help develop Orienteering at Junior level in Ireland. Mike, Ruth - the cheque is in the post

Finally thanks to the Defence Forces for the use of the area and the facilities, Pat Healy for the map, Cork O for the S.I. equipment.
