Making Sense of Control Descriptions

It was great to see people curious to learn about control descriptions at orienteering on Tuesday evening. As you go to more orienteering races you will become more familiar with the standard set of symbols used for the control descriptions. These can look daunting at first, but in reality you will see the same types of control sites used over and over in Ireland. The picture below will you help to make sense of the various columns.
