Join us as we take to the hills of the Sheep's Head Peninsula on Sunday 10th April for the fourth round of the 2016 Munster League.
This
will be an orienteering race on open mountain terrain, perfect for
anyone training for the Leinster Champs later this month or the Irish
Champs next month.
The good news for orienteers, and bad news for
the local wildlife, is that there has recently been very aggressive
burning of almost the entire area. The vegetation is essentially gone
from 90% of the hillside. No gorse, no tussocks and no heather.
