The second instalment of the 2016 Munster League will
take place this Sunday February 21st at Seefin Wood in the Nagles
mountains of North Cork, near Killavullen. With six courses on offer, there is something to suit everyone, including beginners and those returning to the sport. Come along for a body-brain work-out. The map scale is 1:10,000 and the landscape is mostly open forest with a good road network and many earthwalls and streams. As nearly all of the wood is between 800 and 1,000 feet in altitude on a North facing hillside there are relatively few brambles and no rhododendron. START TIMES: Start anytime between 11am and 1pm. COURSE INFO: Brown 8.5km Blue 6.5km Green 5.0km Light Green 3.0km Red 3.8km Orange 2.3km Note for competitors on the Brown and Blue courses, they will visit some controls more than once. So they should ensure they visit controls in the correct order. If bringing a group please let me know in order to ensure sufficient maps.
