2018 Irish Orienteering Championships

The 2018 Irish Orienteering Championships will take place on the May bank holiday weekend in Donegal and Sligo. Fingal will be hosting this year's event and with assistance from Sligo orienteers have planned four days of championship action on challenging terrain for us all to enjoy.

The full orienteering program for those who venture north for the May Bank holiday weekend includes:

Day 1 Fri 4th May Starts 1800hrs – 1930hrs Irish Sprint Championships –   Clayton Hotel and Institute of Technology Sligo - https://www.ioc2018.net/day-1/

Day 2 Sat 5th May Starts 1330hrs – 1530hrs Middle Distance Event –  BarnsmoreWest - https://www.ioc2018.net/day-2/

Day 3 Sun 6th May Starts (TBD) Long Distance Event –  Tawnawully, Lough Eske  -   https://www.ioc2018.net/day-3/

There are already 20+ CorkO members on the start list. So if you are planning on joining your club mates at this championship event be sure to get your entry in soon as the final closing date is fast approaching.

You can enter online at Fabian4 (http://www.fabian4.co.uk/default.aspx?EventID=2010). Final closing date for individual races is SUNDAY APRIL 15TH 2018.

We will also be looking to recruit members for some CorkO relay teams so please let me know if you are interested in a run.
