8th Cliona Callanan Memorial Orienteering Event, Doneraile Park, SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29th

The Eighth Annual Cliona Callanan Memorial Orienteering Event will take place this Sunday September 29th at Doneraile Forest Park (R603076).The Callanan family and friends invite you all to enjoy the beautiful and majestic surroundings of Doneraile Park. Make a day of it with a great playground for the kids and charming tea rooms in the kitchens of historic Doneraile Court. Furthermore guided tours of the park are also available in the afternoon.All proceeds from this event will go to The Cork Children's Leukaemia Association.Your support will be greatly appreciated.Beginners (Yellow) - 3.0km, 10 controls, 25m climb. Buggy friendly.Improvers (Red) - 4.0km, 15 controls, 55m climb.Short technical (Green) - 6.2km, 20 controls, 95m climb.Long technical (Blue) - 8.5km, 24 controls, 140m climb.Start times are between 10am and 1pm.

This event also incorporates Round 1 of the Cork League. SI punching will be used on the day.
