September is nearly upon us and that means it's time to launch this year's CorkO Autumn League. The league will run every Tuesday evening from August 27th to September 17th, with your best two events to count. The fixtures in the league are as follows:August 27th: Currabinny Wood (Ringaskiddy)September 3rd: Corrin Wood (Fermoy)September 10th: Regional Park Ballincollig (Ballincollig)September  17th: Fota House & Gardens (Fota)Following the feedback received in our survey of Summer League participants a large number of responses indicated a keen interest in availing of training to help improve their orienteering ability. The club really appreciated your input and as a result the focus of the Autumn League will be on improving your orienteering skills. There will be two courses available each evening, an Explorer course and an Advanced course. The Explorer course is for beginners and improvers and will help you to learn specific navigation skills as you progress around the course. At the end of the league our Explorers will have learned the skills needed to earn the Level 1 Orienteering Ability Award accredited by the Irish Orienteering Association. The first event in the CorkO Autumn League will take place on Tuesday August 27th at Currabinny Wood, Ringaskiddy.AL#1: COURSE INFO
