Autumn League #2: Garretstown Wood, Ballinspittle TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH Event Info

The second event in the CorkO Autumn League will take place on TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH at Garretstown Wood, Ballinspittle. It's probably 8 years since CorkO last staged an orienteering event in this wood. The map has been recently updated and I'm sure this terrain will present an interesting challenge to all who partake.

DIRECTIONS

From Cork city head to Kinsale and continue through the town and follow the signs for Ballinspittle. Continue through the village of Ballinspittle. Just after you leave the village turn right onto the R600 signed Kilbrittain. Take the first left about 750m along this road. Proceed along this road for a further 1.1km and at the first cross roads turn left. The start will be 1.1km down this road.

Parking will be along the road close to the start. Please park with due consideration for others who may wish to use the road while you are orienteering.
