Charity Trail Runs

The new orienteering season is starting soon so to help you sharpen your fitness our club coach Danny O'Hare has arranged for two trail runs to take place on the next two Tuesday evenings.These will be held onTuesday August 14th in Corrin Hill, Fermoy and

Tuesday August 21st in Garrettstown Woods in Ballinspittle near the old Head of Kinsale.

Both races will be about 5km and will be on nice forest roads. The route will be clearly marked with marshals at junctions.

Cost of entry is €7 and all proceeds will go to Down Syndrome Ireland.

Danny O’Hare is taking part in the Tour de Munster charity cycle again this year (www.tourdemunster.com). This cycle is in Aid of Down Syndrome Ireland and Danny O’Hare is organising these races as part of his fundraising efforts.

Run timing will be provided and the results will be published on this website. There will be refreshments afterwards and there will also be some prizes for finishers.

Race start time is 7.15pm (please turn up by 6.30pm to register)

Everyone welcome non-orienteers especially. Please bring your friends. However do e-mail Danny at dannyohare@gmail.com if you're bringing a large group.
