Cork League #3: Moanbaun Wood, Watergrasshill SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8TH Event Info

The third round of our Cork League will take place on Sunday February 8th at Moanbaun Wood, Watergrasshill.
Our club mapper has spent the last few weeks re-surveying this area and the map has been completely updated for the event. The scale will be 1:10,000 so it will surely present new challenges for those who maybe familiar with the area.
This will be our first event in 2015 and it would be great to get our orienteering calendar off to a great start so we hope you can join us on the day. There will be courses to suit all, from beginners to experienced orienteers. New participants are always welcome and we will have club members on hand to explain everything and help get you started.

Registration from 11am. Last starts at 12.30.

DIRECTIONS
The wood is about 3km East of Watergrasshill. If travelling from Cork city, exit the M8 Dublin motorway at Watergrasshill (at junction 17, BEFORE the toll), use the bridge to cross over the motorway, turn left, and after 500m take the right turn for Leamlara/Kartworld. Follow this road for 3.5km.
From Fermoy/Mitchelstown/Cahir, exit the M8 just after the toll, go straight through the roundabout and take the left after 100m (signposted Leamlara/Kartworld). Follow this road for 3.5km.
