Garretstown Wood Charity Trail Run Event Info

The second of the charity trail runs organised by Danny O'Hare as part of his fundraising efforts for the Tour de Munster charity cycle takes place on Tuesday 21st of August in Garretstown Wood.
The Tour de Munster designated charity this year is Down Syndrome Ireland
The route will be about 5km and will be on nice forest roads. The route will be clearly marked with marshals at junctions.
Cost of entry is €7 and all proceeds will go to Down Syndrome Ireland.
Run timing will be provided and the results will be published on this website. There will be refreshments afterwards and some prizes for finishers.
Race start time is 7.30pm (please turn up by 6.30pm to register)
Directions to Garretstown Woods:
Head to Kinsale and continue over the bridge towards the Old Head. Follow the signs to Ballinspittle. Continue through the village of Ballinspittle. Just after you leave the village you'll see a forest ahead, turn right just before the forest (signposted Kilbrittain). Continue along this road and take the first left. Parking will be 200m further along this road.
