Irish Orienteering Championships 2016

Well done to all our club members who competed at the Irish Orienteering Championships in Waterford over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The competition was fierce across all the classes so huge congratulations to all the CorkO Irish Champions and podium finishers. Below is a summary of the CorkO podium finishers at each of the Championship events.

Day 4 Monday May 2nd: Irish Relay Championships, Towers, Lismore Estate

There was lots of exciting action in the relay competition and CorkO claimed two Championship titles on the day. The experienced orienteering team We Once Were Young claimed the Mens Open Premier honours while our up and coming junior Stars from the East took the honours on the Junior 48 class. Well done guys!
