Munster Orienteering Championships 2013 - SUNDAY NOV 3rd, Toureen Wood, Tipperary

Cork Orienteering Club are the organisers of this year's Munster Orienteering Championships which will take place on Sunday November 3rd at Toureen Wood, Ballydavid, Co. Tipperary.

Toureen Wood is located on the Northern slopes of the Galtees. The area selected has mature coniferous forest with good visibility and is free of brambles except for parts where long grass and stones will impede running. The forest has a good road track network with steep sided ravines and dry gulleys which run down the slopes which are characteristic of Galtee maps and an abundance of point features.  Recent map updates reflect recent felling and additional extraction rides.

There is a full range of classes on offer including an M/W21Novice. So if you've never entered a Championship event before then why not enter this years Munster Championships Novice course.

It is sure to be a fun day out which some great orienteering challenges for all.
