"Off the Paths Training" SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 7th

Hi All,

Unfortunately there's been an outbreak of the tree disease Phytopthera in Guagan Barra and Coillte have asked us not to use the area. As a result the

event will be moved to Walshtown Forest near Dungourney in East Cork. We will be meeting at Leahys Open farm at 10.30am on Saturday September 7th.

If you would like to attend there are still spaces available. Please email me to confirm attendance

The target audience for this event is people who have attended a few Summer Orienteering events and New people who are interested in learning more

about the sport of orienteering are especially welcome.

You don't have to be a CorkO member to attend.

We plan to have groups for adult beginners and groups for families.

Lunch and tea and coffee will be provided in what is a very sociable day out.

Cost is €15 per adult and €8 per child (covering food, maps etc) discounts are available for members & families

Plan for the day is:

10.30 :- Meet at Leahys Farm for tea coffee and scones

11:00 - 13:00:- Practice map techniques with our enthusiastic coaches

13:00 - 14:00:- Lunch at Leahys farm

14:00 - 15.00:- More practice

15.00 - 16.00:- A short course to practice what you've learned
