Summer League #6: Curragh Wood Event Info

The sixth event in the Cork Orienteering Club Summer League takes place in Curragh Wood, Midleton next Tuesday June 12th. Curragh Wood is just 3km from Midleton on the road to Lisgoold. Coming from the city take the first exit for Midleton off the N25 dual carriageway and then turn left at the first set of traffic lights. This takes you around the northern relief road to the main Midleton - Lisgoold road.See bottom of league page for a direction map.
The start will be at the car park. Please note there is limited space in the car park so if parking on the road keep close to the wood, take care while walking on the road and also be attentive when leaving after the event.
The short course is 2.4km with ~140m climb.
The long course is 4.5km with ~250m climb.
Start times are, as usual, from 5.30pm to 7pm.
There has been some recent felling (marked) it has not affected the running but please don’t climb on any of the timber stacks.
