Summer League #8: Curragh Wood Midleton TUESDAY JUNE 28TH Event Info

Post date: Jun 25, 2016 10:45:10 PM

The eighth event in the CorkO Summer League will take place in Curragh Wood, Midleton on Tuesday June 28th.

There are just three competitive events left in the 2016 Summer League so if you are looking to complete the league or improve on some previous results be sure to join us at Curragh Wood on Tuesday.

You can find the latest league tables at the following link:

Presently Agris Kramins sits on top of the leaderboard in the Men's Long Course results while Claire O'Brien has a narrow lead on the Women's Long Course results table. Both could potentially be displaced over the coming weeks by any one of a number of eager challengers . Meanwhile Gavin McIllreavy currently leads the field in the Short Course league. However a number of contestants could knock him off this mantel if they attend and perform well in the three remaining events. So why not check out the results to find your own orienteering nemesis and attempt to out run and out smart them over the remaining events. It is still all to play for and the physically demanding terrain at Curragh will no doubt favour some contenders.

PARKING

The start will be at the car park. Please note there is limited space in the car park and once this fills parking will be on a busy road. So please park on the left side only and keep close to the wood, take care while walking on the road and also be attentive when leaving after the event. As always, we'd encourage you to car pool if you can.

Hope you can join us.
