Autumn League #3 Cork Showgrounds Curraheen Tuesday 10th September

The third event in our Autumn league will take place on Tuesday September 10th at the Cork Showgrounds in Curraheen.

COURSE INFO

The format of this weeks courses will be a little different as both courses will start with a challenge to navigate through a mini orienteering grid exercise before embarking on your regular orienteering course.

Short Course

Will consist of an easy grid (maze) followed by a normal 1.9km course and will be a buggy friendly run through pasture land.

Long Course

Long Course involves a challenging grid (maze) run followed by a 3.5km run through pasture land

ENTRY

The online entry will close 6pm on Sunday September 8th

Why not take the hassle out of registration on the day and enter online entry in advance.

STARTS

Start anytime from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Courses close at 7:15pm.

DIRECTIONS

Take Junction 2 off the N40. Once off the N40 follow signs for Curraheen Village – do not take the road to the greyhound stadium. Turn off the roundabout near Marymount Hospice for Curraheen. After 800m the orienteering event will be signposted on the right before you enter Curraheen village.

Please exercise due care approaching and entering the grounds from the city side. This narrow road can be very busy at rush hour.
