Tramore Valley Park
Tramore Valley Park is the old landfill site off the South Link/Kinsale Road. Cork City Council is in the process of converting it to an amenity park and this new area has recently been mapped by the Cork Schools Orienteering Association. The area is comprised of open grass land interspersed with inspection covers and divided by a network of paths. It also has various water features.
Map Scale: 1:5,000
Parking: There is ample car parking facilities on site.
Directions
If you are coming out of Cork City on the South Link Road, just turn left into the park.
If you are coming from the direction of the Kinsale Road Roundabout then please note you CANNOT turn right off the South Link Road and into the park. Instead at the Kinsale Road Roundabout take the exit which will take you down passed Harvey Normans, then turn right at the next junction and drive passed the entrance to the Black Ash Park and Ride. At the junction with the South Link drive straight through the traffic lights (once they turn green!) and into the park.
