All Systems are Go for some Cunning Running in Fota

The 2013 Summer League kicks off this evening in Fota House and Gardens. As orienteering is the art of cunning running here is a video with a few tips to help you tonight. Nick Barrable one of the competitors featured in the video will be in Ireland over the June back holiday weekend to participate in the Shamrock O-Ringen a three day orienteering event which Cork Orienteering Club is hosting.

Also why not check out the photos below and see if you can spot some of our CorkO members in action at the recent Irish Orienteering Relay Championships. With so many competitors over your shoulder this is running under pressure. Hopefully things won't be this crowded getting to some of the controls this evening......but remember, every second really does count!
