Munster League #6: Toureen Wood, Tipperary Sunday OCTOBER 11TH

Post date: Oct 06, 2015 9:49:13 PM

The sixth event in the Munster League will take place on Sunday October 11th at Toureen Wood, Ballydavid, Co. Tipperary.Toureen Wood is located on the Northern slopes of the Galtees. This is a mature coniferous forest with good visibility and is free of brambles except for parts where long grass and stones will impede running. The forest has a good road track network with steep sided ravines and dry gulleys which run down the slopes which are characteristic of Galtee maps and an abundance of point features.  Recent map updates reflect recent felling and additional extraction rides.

With six courses on offer, there is something to suit everyone, including beginners and those returning to the sport. Come along for a body-brain work-out.
